Rollator brought my grandmother's passion and energy back

My grandmother has severe varicose veins that make it very difficult for her to walk even a few hundred meters. She had surgery on her lower limbs two years ago, but the result was not very satisfactory. Last Christmas I bought her a VOCIC Z51 Shift Combo 2 in 1 rollator. She said she liked it, but she never uses it. She put it in the storage room without opening the box.

It was only later, when I talked to my uncle, that I learned what my grandmother was thinking: she felt embarrassed using a walker on the street. Grandma, who had been a strong woman her whole life, did not want to be labeled as a "disadvantaged elderly person with walking problems."

As her varicose veins worsened, she could only walk a few steps along the wall each day. Her cheerful laughter also faded. I was very sad to see my grandmother like this. Aging seems to have a special ability to defeat all living things, to bind them to one place and take away their bright smiles and cheerful personalities.

Finally, I got out the walker, hoping to help her walk and cheer her up.

We started by trying to walk in our own backyard. Before she started, I gave her a simple demonstration. After her first attempt, she was surprised that it was more flexible and easier to use than other medical walkers. After pushing the walker for a while, she turned to me excitedly and said, "Look at me, I'm walking again!"

And I also helped her unlock a new feature of the rollator - the TRANSPORT CHAIR feature. The VOCIC Shift Combo 2-in-1 rollator is a transport chair walker, which means it can be used as both a rollator walker and a transport chair. That's why I can unlock the TRANSPORT CHAIR feature. At first, she was afraid that the walker wouldn't be strong enough. After sitting on the chair for a while, she even hoped that I could push the rollator behind her.

That day completely changed my grandma's attitude towards the walker. In the days that followed, she started using the walker to wash ingredients while sitting in the walker's chair, cooking in the kitchen and pushing the walker to get the food on the table. With the walker, my grandma enjoyed cooking again.

She also began to move around the house with ease using the walker. She would push it into the bathroom or her bedroom and use it at any time.

She also went shopping with grandpa, who pushed the walker. Even two people with one walker were enough. When grandma gets tired, the TRANSPORT CHAIR function comes to the rescue by sitting in the walker chair and grandpa pushes her behind him. When the weather is clear, we go for a walk in the park. When she is sunbathing, she always likes to sit in the walker chair and read. This walker is equipped with a double braking system, so I don't have to worry about the walker rolling on its own, it always stays firmly in place to ensure my grandmother's safety!

This dark red wanderer seems to restore enthusiasm and strength to my grandmother's body, and again her face shone with a smile and her lively vitality returned!

Last but not least, Grandma discovered that she is not the only elderly person using a walker on the street; more and more elderly people are using rollators. At the same time, people on the street don't stare at Grandma any differently. Instead, when they learn that Grandma has difficulty getting around, they treat her more politely. Even some young people ask my Grandma where they can buy this 2-in-1 rollator and they want to buy one for their parents. This is all different from Grandma's initial thought, which really makes her very relieved.

Grandma says she never thought she would love the days when she pushed her walker to get around. She also realizes that medical walking aids do not limit her life, but rather free her. It allows her to rejoin her social life and enjoy life to the fullest in her golden age.

Now many of her friends have also bought this product on her advice and are planning to take the walker to Paris next year to watch the fashion show. With the help of this walker, her life has become more colorful, not just staying at home.

When an illness changes the way we live, loss and sadness are inevitable. However, once we have processed these emotions, we should look for all kinds of devices and products that can make our lives easier. After all, life goes on. I am very happy that the VOCIC Shift Combo 2-in-1 Rollator is the product that helped my grandma so much.
